The Zone Training and Racing Team

It is 2017 and it is going to be an amazing year for all of us! I am so excited to have a group with wide levels of experience, paces, and racing goals. We can all learn a lot from each other!

My goal for this team is to pull together all of the awesome athletes in our area so we can build a community of camaraderie, support, and encouragement. We are not focused on pace and we will always celebrate accomplishments- whether it is an overall race win; a PR; an age group placement; a first time 5K to a veteran Ironman. 2017 will be an exciting year of firsts on all levels and it will be exciting to be a part of goals being met!

We will start the year off with an off-season strength class at The Zone. In this class we will specifically focus on recruiting and strengthening muscles used for swimming, biking, and running.

Wednesdays February until we have light and good weather from 6:30-7:30pm*
Indoor cycling at The Zone. Bring your bike and trainer or use one of the RealRyder indoor cycling bikes at the gym. This class will help prepare triathletes for early season races and is an overall great workout!
If you know me you know I’m writing this with a giddy grin anticipating the upcoming season.
